When no other option is possible, we may recommend a tooth extraction. There are different reasons why a tooth might be affected and need to be pulled, including:

We offer both types of dental extractions: simple and surgical. Dr. Allen administers a local anesthetic to keep patients numb, so they only feel slight discomfort and pressure.

What a Dental Extraction Looks Like

Dr. Allen starts the dental extraction procedure by removing the tooth in several stages. Once the tooth is extracted, we will apply sutures, if necessary, to initiate the healing process. The sutures will dissolve on their own over time.
